FAQ
Everything you need to know before the big day.
A short ceremony will be held outdoors in the beautiful gardens, weather permitting. Afterward, we will move inside the historic mansion for cocktail hour and the reception.
We are requesting formal attire with a colorful twist! We suggest wearing a suit, cocktail dress, or an elegant pantsuit. However, since it will be the middle of summer, we want you to be comfortable, so we aren't too strict on the rules. We do highly encourage vibrant and neon colors — the brighter, the better!
Please note that our ceremony will take place outdoors on the grass and there are stone pathways around the venue, so we recommend thick heels, wedges, or flats for your comfort!
Due to the intimate nature of our venue, we are only able to accommodate guests who are formally invited on your wedding invitation. If your invitation says "and Guest," we would love for you to bring a date!
While we love all the little ones in our lives, we are keeping our guest list limited to the children of our immediate family. We hope you understand and can take this opportunity to enjoy a fun and relaxing evening out with us!
Yes! We have reserved a block of rooms at the Drury Hotel in Settlers Ridge, which is 10–15 minutes from the Hyeholde. You can book your room by visiting our Hotels page, or by calling 1-800-325-0720 and referencing group number 10188146. Please book your stay by Monday, July 20, to guarantee a room within our block.
If you prefer to stay elsewhere, the venue is located close to Pittsburgh International Airport, which is surrounded by plenty of great hotel options!

Yes! We will be providing a party bus shuttle service to transport guests to and from the Drury Hotel. We will update our website with the exact departure times and details closer to the big day.
Yes! Drinks are on us — we can't wait to celebrate with you.
Please arrive by 3:00 so you can grab a great seat and get settled before we officially kick things off at 3:30.
Our reception is scheduled to wrap up around 8:00 PM (though we have the option to keep the party going for one more hour if the dance floor is still packed!). Because this will be a slightly earlier evening than a traditional wedding, we do not have an official after-party planned.
Please RSVP by July 11 so we can have an accurate headcount for the chef at the Hyeholde. You can RSVP right here on our website under the RSVP tab!
